Career Summary

Mr. Sparks is principal and founder of Sparks Engineering, Inc.  Prior to this, Mr. Sparks served as Principal Structural Engineer in the Austin office of the LawGibb Group, where he specialized in engineering services for existing structures.  He has over 20 years experience in a variety of engineering disciplines, including research, construction, and design, Mr. Sparks has made the investigation, analysis, and rehabilitation of existing structures his career focus.  He has lectured extensively on the technical aspects of investigation, rehabilitation, and preservation and has published articles in peer-reviewed journals on these topics.
