Career Summary

Mr. Miles joined Sparks Engineering, Inc. in May 2004, and has developed a diverse experience base with his involvement in a wide variety of projects.  His work has included multiple site investigations and condition assessments, distress monitoring and analysis, historic rehabilitations, cladding investigations, remedial foundation stabilizations, and a variety of non-traditional projects.  Mr. Miles prepares specifications and construction documents and has provided construction administration services on a number of projects.  Additionally, he specializes in the use of non-destructive test methods, including infrared thermography building envelope evaluations and the evaluation of concrete.  Mr. Miles has experience with repair, rehabilitation and design for wood, concrete, masonry, steel, wrought iron, and an assortment of cladding components.

Prior to joining Sparks Engineering, Mr. Miles was a land title examiner for Stewart Title Austin, Inc., with over 14 years of experience in the development of acreage land for residential and commercial use.
